Yet another gorgeous and sprawling preserve among the hills near the Iowa River. This spot isn't huge at 107 acres, but it offers a fair amount of diversity with tall timber, prairie, creekside savannah and open face rock formations. Trails aren't great but luckily this is trafficked enough by visitors and volunteers that its pretty easy to stay on trail. The park could use a bridge or two because it can seem like the southern portion of the land is cut off from access. Bur Oak has done a great deal of volunteer work and restoration here.
