Terry Trueblood - Iowa City Park

Writer: Ben SmasherBen Smasher

Though this is a popular spot for joggers and boating / beaching, the adjacent woods to the west are always full of curiosities. It can get kind of muddy in here but it's handy proximity makes it worth visiting often. If you're feeling extra hornery, you can sneak across the river to Meskwaki "park" (decommissioned not de-contaminated former dump). Trails vary widely from bike / footpaths to mulched depending on the area.
