Richardson Wildlife Area - Muscatine County Park

77 Acres of hilly upland, some of which is still farmed. There are a lot of big older trees growing alongside a creek that feeds into the Cedar River and hills that look out across ravines carved away by hundreds of years of drainage. Not much in the way of trails but the undergrowth here seems manageable compared to other parks.


35 Miles Southeast of Iowa City

Parking: Gravel lot

From 231st St. go south on Echo Ave. approximately 4 miles. Turn right on 260th St. and go 0.5 miles
