While this property is only 16 acres of dense timber, Bur Oak has been working diligently with volunteers to clear out roses and honeysuckle underbrush to make it a more navigable area to enjoy. It also adjoins Hickory Hill Park, so you can venture off further if you want to. Pappy Dickens is a nice place for a quick hike or a picnic and is one of the closer Bur Oak properties in town. It can seem like you're going down a driveway, but there is about enough room for one or two cars to park.
