This park is just a few miles North of Sigourney (name of the park backwards) and was formally a rock quarry. The centerpiece is an amazing crystal clear 10 acre lake that is up to 24 feet deep surrounded by open face rock and various conifer trees. The park is 76 acres total, but not much trail path is offered. The draw here is picnic, bathroom and fishing amenities for the general public, but the whole place is really gorgeous and really tucked away from civilization. Worth the drive itself, but there is a larger park just a few miles away called Lake Belva Deer that has modern cabins for rent.
