One of our favorite parks, just outside of town, offers a wide variety of different beautiful landscapes and views. 464 Acres to roam through hardwood and softwood timber as well as 4 ponds surrounded by hillside prairie and marsh land. The reliability of trails out here can vary greatly but this is a fairly popular destination so getting lost out here would be hard. A fair amount of work has been done out here to maintain integrity of the bodies of water and to make them accessible to visitors.
